Tips for Chartering or Leasing a Coach
Before you take your first step toward contracting a charter carrier, here are some tips to go by to ensure the safety of your group.
- Go to www.safersys.org to review the carrier's USDOT safety rating. His Majesty Coach has obtained the highest
USDOT safety rating possible. Never charter from a company with an unsatisfactory or conditional rating.
- Request a list of references from the potential carrier. If a motorcoach company desires your business,
then they should be happy to provide you with a list of references.
- Personally inspect the company's equipment and facilities. His Majesty Coach is conveniently located off
of I-75 in Kennesaw, so feel free to visit.
- His Majesty Coach currently has the newest fleet of luxury coaches in the Atlanta area with most of our
fleet being 2007 models. We probably won't be the least expensive carrier that you will find, but like in most
cases, as well as bussing, you get what you pay for. Get all the information you can before committing to a
carrier's contract. You may even want to ask about their driver's regulations. A driver may not drive more than
ten hours per day or be on duty for more than 15 hours. If your itinerary calls for more than ten hours of
driving, a second driver will be required to complete your trip.
